This set of four used beer bottle cap magnets are from Chimay Brewery of southern Hainaut, Belgium.
Chimay is considered as Trappist beers because they are made in a Trappist monastery. It was the first brewery to use the Trappist Ale designation on its labels.
Interesting fact: The water for the beers is drawn from a well near the monastery. The filtered solids from the beer mash are recycled into livestock feed and fed to their cows. The cows produce the milk for Chimay cheeses.
Each cap is red, with the Chimay logo in bronze and white. Very handsome.
What a fun gift, addition to a collection or to add to the dorm or bar fridge.
